A leading presidential aspirant of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo, has expressed optimism that addressing difficulties faced by women will lead to Nigeria’s progress.
He expressed the hope during an interview with journalists.
According to him, women are agents of progress, and “fixing their concerns will assist tackle other challenges in the country.”
Many women, he said, flock to church and other places of worship to pray about unemployment, poverty, and insecurity, among other challenges plaguing the country.
Prince Adebayo therefore observed that any serious government would emphasize women’s concerns, as this would have a multiplier effect on other sectors.
