President Tinubu Departs Lagos for Abuja After Eid al-Adha Holiday

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed Lagos for Abuja following a two-week private visit to the nation’s commercial capital, where he celebrated the Eid al-Adha festivities.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, alongside other senior government officials, accompanied the President to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport for his return journey to the Federal Capital Territory.

During his stay in Lagos, President Tinubu hosted a number of high-profile guests at his residence and took part in the commissioning of key projects. Among the dignitaries who paid him a courtesy visit were former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, and Segun Sowunmi, a prominent chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party and former spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar’s 2023 presidential campaign.

The President’s engagements during the holiday underscore his continued outreach across political lines and his commitment to national development, even during personal time.
