President Bola Tinubu to Nigerians: Toughest Days Are Behind Us, Better Days Ahead
President Bola Tinubu has urged Nigerians to remain hopeful and resilient as his administration’s economic reforms begin to yield positive results. In his 2025 Eid-el-Kabir message, the President called for continued faith, unity, and compassion among citizens.
He congratulated Muslims across Nigeria and the world, emphasizing that the true spirit of Eid lies in sacrifice, devotion, and selflessness—values exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and upheld by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
“While we celebrate, let us renew our commitment to these ideals,” Tinubu said. “This season also calls us to show compassion, tolerance, and dedication to national progress.”
Reflecting on the challenges faced in recent times, Tinubu acknowledged the hardships but assured that Nigeria is turning a corner. “The toughest days are behind us. Our reforms are working, and the nation is on the path to recovery and sustainable development,” he stated.
He expressed condolences over the tragic flooding in Mokwa, Niger State, which claimed lives and destroyed property, urging collective support and prayers for the affected.
Tinubu also called for prayers for Nigeria’s frontline security officers and leaders, urging citizens to continue showing kindness and generosity during the sacred celebration.
“May this Eid bring peace, unity, and renewed hope to all Nigerians,” he concluded.
