Daddy Showkey had slammed those who organised Floyd Mayweather’s trip to Nigeria.
The international boxing champion came to Nigeria over the weekend to promote his exhibition match against Don Moore in Dubai (read here).
During a press conference, he promised to build a boxing academy in Nigeria.
He also met with the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.
Reacting, Daddy Showkey said there are many boxers in Nigeria who have been championing the cause in the country, yet they were not given a chance to meet with Rotimi Amaechi or the opportunity to contribute toward promoting boxing in Nigeria.
“Mumu people,” he said, slamming the promoters.
