A match official was attacked after relegation-bound Mountain of Fire and Miracles Football Club, drew goalless with Enugu Rangers in their NPFL clash on Sunday, May 1.
According to Sports journalist, Blackcoin, who shared the video online, he said angry MFM fans confronted the official after the final whistle and attacked him while he was being escorted by several police officers.
He wrote: “In Lagos, a match official was attacked after MFM drew goalless with visiting Enugu Rangers. MFM fans walked up to the official after the final whistle and landed a heavy blow on his face.”
Mountain of Fire and Miracles Football Club are bottom on the league table with only 24 points. .
