Commuters along the busy Ikorodu road scrambled out of their cars after an electric cable sparked at Maryland bus stop on Tuesday evening, April 12.
A video shared online showed as fire erupted from the electric poles while the spark persisted.
Senior Special Assistant to Lagos state governor on New Media, Jubril Gawat, said the situation had been brought under control.
