Suspected Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) exploded in a building at Kabala West, a suburb of Kaduna metropolis.
On Monday that the explosion shattered the entire building into pieces on Sunday night, at exactly 9:45pm.
The source, who said no life was lost, added that the cause of the explosion remains unknown at the time of filing this report.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Muhammad Jalige, confirmed the incident.
He said findings revealed that there was nobody inside the building as at the time of the explosion, adding that the explosion was suspected to be an IED.
According to him, anti-bomb squad has been deployed to the scene to analyse the particles they got from the place.
Meanwhile, the Kaduna State Government has advised residents to be extra vigilant and report any case of criminals around their environment.
Mr. Samuel Aruwan, Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, who confirmed the explosion on Monday, said citizens must ensure safety of their environment by reporting any suspected criminal case or strange faces around their vicinity.
He advised residents to report any suspicious person or object observed to the nearest security formation immediately, adding that, security Operations Room may also be contacted.
