Guinness World Records has broken silence on why they are yet to comment after Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci surpassed the world record for the longest cooking hours by an individual.
This was gathered in response to an inquiry by one Alexander, in the early hours of Monday, May 15, 2023, seeking to know why Baci’s success was yet to be acknowledged by the Guinness World Records.
Alexander wrote; “Why is Guinness World Records not showing or talking about Hilda’s cook-a-thon? Can’t see anything on their pages (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube).”
Recall that the 27-year-old chef, broke the record after she surpassed Indian chef Lata Tandon, who set a Guinness World Record for cooking for 87 hours and 45 minutes non-stop in 2019 to become the new “Guinness World Record” holder.
As of 11:22 am on Monday, Baci has cooked for 91 hours and 21 minutes to surpass the previous record set by an Indian chef, Lata Tondon in 2019.
The previous titleholder cooked for 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 secs.
