Officer killed as terrorists shoot Police AIG’s convoy

Terrorists ambushed a senior police officer on Tuesday in Bauchi State.

They opened fire on the convoy Audu Adamu Madaki, an Assistant Inspector General of Police.

Madaki, the AIG in charge of Zone 12, escaped unhurt.

But his orderly was not lucky as the officer died on the spot.

The police team was targeted at the Barde Zangidi area of Bauchi.

Terrorists have increased attacks on security personnel and facilities in recent weeks.

Last week, two separate ambushes in and around Abuja resulted in the death of some Army personnel.
