Sierra Leone will host the Super Eagles at a neutral venue in their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in June after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) failed to approve any of the country’s stadia.
CAF released a list of stadia across the continent that can host matchday five games in the qualifiers on Monday.
Sierra Leone will host Nigeria on June 18, 2023.
The Leone Stars have played all their home games in the qualifiers in Morocco.
The Super Eagles top Group A with nine points from four outings and need just a point against Sierra Leone to book a spot in Cote d’Ivoire 2023.
Sierra Leone is third with five points from the same number of matches.
Guinea-Bissau and Sao Tome and Principe are the other teams in the group.
The top two teams in the group will qualify for the AFCON.
