Gombe gov urges supporters to vote APC

The Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya, has urged his supporters to collect their Permanent Voter Cards so as to vote for the All Progressives Congress in the 2023 elections.

He said that the projects executed in his first tenure were a clear indication of his competence, especially as one with the desire to alleviate the sufferings of the people.

Yahaya made the remarks on Monday during his campaign across five wards of Balanga North comprising, Talase, Gelengu, Sua, Degiri and Bangu Bala Waja.

The governor was earlier at the Palace of the Bala Waja, the paramount ruler of the Local Government, Muhammad Danjuma, to intimate him about his team’s presence in the domain, while requesting his support ahead of 2023 elections.

 

Danjuma told the governor that he would get massive support across the local government, following Yahaya’s developmental strides, “cutting across road construction, the recent recruitment of teachers by the State Teachers Commission in which Balanga Local Government came second in the list of those that benefited in the number of teachers newly recruited in the state.”

At some of the wards visited, Yahaya appealed to the people to get their PVCs, “so as to vote the APC in all levels of governments in the forthcoming election,” stressing that it would enable him consolidate on the achievements made in the first tenure in Gombe State.

He urged the people of the state to vote massively for the APC in all levels of governments.

Also speaking, the Coordinator of the APC Campaign Council in Gombe State, Jamil Gwamma, predicted that the PDP would suffer defeat because of none performance recorded in the past, stressing that “if a child who didn’t allow the mother to sleep, will certainly not sleep as well.”

Gwamma called on voters to vote for the APC from top to bottom in the forthcoming election to enable the government consolidate on the achievements made in the first tenure.
