President Muhammadu Buhari’s ex-Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad has reacted to the emergence of Bishop Isaac Idahosa as the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, presidential running mate.
On Thursday, NNPP, had announced Idahosa as the running mate to its presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso.
NNPP had disclosed this via a tweet which reads: “Our VP Pastor Bishop Isaac Idahosa from Edo State.”
Reacting to the development, Ahmad said Nigerians have lots of options during the 2023 presidential election.
He said Nigerians who want to vote along religion and ethnic lines have a lot of options to chose from, with Idahosa’s emergence as Kwankwaso’s running mate.
In a tweet, Ahmad said those who prefer to vote for competence also have their choice during the presidential election.
He wrote: “With Sen. Kwankwaso’s choice of Bishop Isaac Idahosa as his running mate, Nigerians now have plenty options available, those who wish to vote based on ethnic and religious have their choice and those who want to vote on competency basis have also their choice. #NigeriaDecides!”
