The Leone Stars of Sierra Leone will camp in Conakry, Guinea for their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Josh Keister’s men will face the Super Eagles next week Thursday at Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja in their first game in the qualifiers.
Sierra Leone will host the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau four days later at the General Lasana Conte Stadium in Conakry.
Their original home ground, Siaka Stevens Stadium, Freetown is still awaiting approval from the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) and Confederation of African Football (CAF) to host international matches.
Keister and his technical crew members are expected to hit Conakry on Wednesday (today).
Keister has summoned 25 players for both games.
Prominent among the players are; captain Steve Caulker, Queen Park Rangers defender Osman Kakay, Mohammed Buya Turay and Augustus Kargbo of FC Crotone.
The Leone Stars were eliminated at the group stage of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
