Retiring Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) of the Nigerian military have been charged to invest their gratuity and other accrued benefits wisely to lead fruitful post-service lives.
They were also advised to shun bad company and avoid lavish lifestyles as they prepare to be reintegrated into civil life.
Commandant, Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC) Oshodi, Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Idi Gamso Lubo gave the admonition during a thanksgiving service held in preparation for the graduation of the NCOs from various entrepreneurial skills trainings.
Lubo cautioned the retiring soldiers to ensure their loyalty remained with the country, adding that they should use their experiences to the advantage of the nation.
