President Muhammadu Buhari has extended his condolences to the Kazaure Emirate Council in Jigawa State, as well as the family of Adamu, on the passing of Alhaji Ilyasu Adamu, Tafidan Kazaure.
A statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, in Abuja on Monday, said the President prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed.
Alhaji Adamu was a community leader and retired Deputy Director, Social Services, in the Ministry Health and Social Development, Jigawa State.
‘‘The humanitarian initiatives of the late Tafidan Kazaure greatly endeared him to the people and his wise and godly counsel will be greatly missed by those who came in direct contact with him in Jigawa State and beyond.
‘‘May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus,’’ said the President.
